On November 24th, we will launch FORTE 9!
At the moment, we’re working on a new product design and a new user interface for FORTE 9.

Will there be improvements over the clumsy and inefficient editing functionality of Forte 8 Premium? Will Forte 9 have the ability to select measures by clicking and dragging with the mouse, for example?

There’ll be some improvements on the editing and playback functions.
You’ll also be able to ctrl+c/ctrl+v measures.
Maybe you’ll just give it a try.
The new trial versions of FORTE 9 will be available on November 24th.

I wrote my first scores with Forte 7 Home. My skills are growing and am interested in upgrading to Forte 8 Premium.
However, with Forte 9 Premium rolling out in 10 days, will I have to upgrade to 8 Premium first and then upgrade again to 9 Premium? Or, should I simply wait these few days for Forte 9 to come out and then upgrade directly from 7 Home to 9 Premium?

Does the guitar fretboard support the same new features as the virtual keyboard? (lighting up the notes as the score is played back?)
