The background information<\/span><\/h2>\n

The music that became the anthems for the two nations couldn’t be more different:<\/p>\n

French national anthem:<\/strong> The Marseillaise has been used since the 18th century, and the text and music is by Claude Joseph Rouget de Lisle.<\/p>\n

Croatian national anthem:<\/strong> The background of the Croatian anthem is not completely clear, but the music is attributed to Josip Runjanin. The anthem has been officially used since 1972.<\/p>\n

But it’s way more exciting to compare the lyrics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
